Second-pass HTS checks.
Before broker review.

Paste one product description or supplier HS code. Moya checks US HTS candidates, CBP ruling patterns, tariff exposure, and broker-prep questions for import teams.

Important: AI output requires professional review
Moya provides AI-assisted research for U.S. import workflows. Results are not a binding CBP ruling, legal advice, customs brokerage advice, or filing instruction. Verify HTS codes, duties, and compliance requirements with a licensed customs broker or official source before relying on them.

We will carry this into your first one-product check after signup. Invited trial links can run limited checks without an account.

LIVE DATA STATUS

Source coverage you can verify

Moya exposes current source status because tariff and ruling data age quickly. The agent still gives research for professional review, not filing instructions.

WHY IT MATTERS

Trade compliance is getting harder, not easier

Supplier codes, landed-cost tools, and product descriptions often miss the US-specific facts that drive HTS classification and tariff exposure. A second pass helps catch issues before broker review.

WHAT MOYA DOES

A second pass for the moments that create duty surprises

Supplier code sanity check

Paste one code from a supplier, broker note, carrier form, or catalog. Moya checks whether it is a defensible starting point for US HTS review.

Tariff exposure before margin decisions

Review visible Section 301, Section 232, other current Chapter 99, exclusion, and duty-rate signals before you price, reorder, or launch a US market.

Broker-prep questions

Get the missing product facts, ruling evidence, and review questions to verify before anyone relies on the code for filing.

HOW IT WORKS

Use it before you trust a duty number

1

Paste what you have

Use one supplier HS code, Shopify customs field, carrier code, PO line, or plain product description.

2

Moya runs the second pass

It compares US HTS paths, CBP ruling evidence, tariff signals, and missing product facts.

3

Verify the right questions

Use the result to decide what to ask your broker, supplier, carrier, or internal reviewer before filing.

EXAMPLE SECOND-PASS CHECKS

Show the questions behind the HTS answer

Moya is designed to turn a vague supplier description into a defensible review packet: candidate HTS paths, tariff signals, and the facts to verify before broker review.

LED strip light kit from China

Example input

China-origin retail LED strip kit with wall plug power cord, controller, plastic/silicone housing, adhesive backing, and decorative color lighting function.

Candidate HTS path

A complete non-portable LED lighting kit can point toward 9405.42.8410, while portable self-powered lighting must be compared against Chapter 85.

Tariff signals to verify

For China-origin goods, verify Section 301 and other current Chapter 99 layers against the final HTS code and Chapter 99 data.

Questions before broker review

  • Is it a complete retail kit or only a flexible circuit board?
  • Is the product fixed decorative lighting or portable battery-powered lighting?

Bluetooth fitness tracker from China

Example input

China-origin wrist-worn fitness tracker with Bluetooth app connection, heart-rate and activity sensors, NFC payment support, rechargeable lithium battery, and retail packaging.

Candidate HTS path

If wireless communication is the principal function, the path may point toward 8517.62.0090; measurement-dominant products need comparison with Chapter 90.

Tariff signals to verify

China-origin electronics should be checked for Section 301, current Chapter 99, battery, and radio-compliance signals after classification.

Questions before broker review

  • What function controls principal use: communication, measurement, or watch-style computing?
  • Are wireless, battery, labeling, and app claims documented?

Aluminum-backed food wrapper from China

Example input

China-origin printed fast-food sandwich wrappers laminated with aluminum foil and bleached paper, cut to shape for restaurant use.

Candidate HTS path

Backed aluminum foil can point toward 7607.20.1000 when aluminum gives the article its essential character.

Tariff signals to verify

Verify Section 232 aluminum treatment, derivative aluminum rules, and any China-specific tariff layers.

Questions before broker review

  • What are the paper and aluminum weight percentages?
  • Does the aluminum layer provide barrier function or only decoration?

Common questions

How is "minute of AI analysis" measured?+

We bill only the wall-clock time the AI agent spends reasoning about your product, capped at $0.25 per successful check. A $2 top-up covers at least eight capped checks, and usually more.

Do failed checks use paid balance?+

No. If the system fails or reaches the reliability timeout before producing a reliable result, the failed check is not charged to paid wallet balance.

Do you offer refunds?+

Unused top-up balance can be refunded on request within 30 days. Email support@moyatech.ai.

Is the classification legally binding?+

No. All Moya results are AI-generated recommendations for reference only and should be verified by a licensed customs broker before filing.
